Labor Day weekend is nearly here, and Walt Disney World and Orlando have been ranked as the top hotel destination city for 2020, according to travel coordinating app TripIt. And if you’re still looking to book a Disney Resort hotel stay, inventory at Walt Disney World is currently booked at 80%, according to our sources. Let’s take a look at the current rankings:
Orlando jumped to first, having ranked fourth in 2019. Also ranked within the top five are Lake Buena Vista, Bay Lake, and Kissimmee.
The study of hotel and flight destinations also showed that Orlando is also the top destination in Florida, ranking third in the United States behind Las Vegas and Denver.
As the crowds start to roll into the area, only four resort hotels remain currently available, based off of a 1-night stay from 9/5 to 9/6: Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, and Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, according to the Walt Disney World website.
In addition to resorts, Disney Park Pass availability has been completely depleted for all three categories of guests, including Disney Resort guests, Theme Park Ticket guests, and Annual Passholders.
