THE final of the Lisbane Farm Jump Cross Series concluded last Tuesday evening. The all-weather surface enabled the event to go ahead, despite some heavy rainfall the previous night.
Throughout the summer series, competitors had the opportunity to jump on a range of surfaces over a variety of fences, including; show jumps, logs, ditches and water jumps. This is beneficial for the development of both horses and riders at all levels.
The introduction of the Mini Mouse and Mickey Mouse classes this year enabled younger competitors to take their first steps in their eventing career, whilst in a safe and controlled environment.
Thank you to all the sponsors for their ongoing support; Kingsfield Equine Veterinary, Kingsfield Haylage, Léo Pelé Farrier Services, Baileys Horse Feed, as well as photographers Anne Morrison and Martin O’Neil.
The Autumn/ Winter calendar will include a Jump Cross Series running on September 26, October 24 and November 28, with classes for horses and ponies and jumps from 50cm up to 1m.
