Plus, look, Goblet of Fire is just a good movie. There are fun moments, it’s a coming of age story, and it overall just fits into what we love so much about the series as a whole. Yes, the book and the movie differ slightly but that doesn’t mean that we can’t like them both.
There’s just something fun about Goblet of Fire until it isn’t as much fun anymore (meaning when Cedric Diggory gets killed by Peter Pettigrew and Voldemort comes back). But watching these kids grow up and go to dances and learn about liking each other? It was an important part of our own growing up and that’s why we love it.
